Kervens Presley Durosema
From barefoot football in Cité Soleil to a championship-winning midfield role at one of Brazil's most respected clubs.
Kervens Presley Durosema was born in Cité Soleil, Haiti, and grew up in a family of four alongside his younger sister. From an early age, football became his greatest passion. After school and on weekends, he could often be found playing barefoot with friends in the streets, where he developed the creativity, resilience, and technical ability that continue to define his game.
A natural midfielder, Kervens thrives in controlling the rhythm of play, orchestrating attacks, and creating scoring opportunities for his teammates. His vision, composure on the ball, and leadership in midfield have always reflected his dream of becoming a professional footballer.
Kervens began his organized football journey with Paramyd FC in Cité Soleil. However, due to the growing insecurity in his community, he left his family at the age of 12 after being identified by TapIn Sports through Ligue des Jeunes d'Haïti. He relocated to Cap-Haïtien, where he continued his development in a safer environment while playing for Mercure FC. During this period, he refined his technical skills, tactical understanding, and competitive mindset, establishing himself as one of the club's standout young midfielders.
At the age of 14, Kervens earned a life-changing opportunity when he was selected by the Montana Organization to participate in football trials in Brazil. His outstanding performances impressed the coaching staff and secured him a place with Grêmio Foot-Ball Porto Alegrense, one of Brazil's most respected football clubs.
During his time at Grêmio, Kervens played an instrumental role in helping his team capture a championship title. Operating from midfield, he recorded 7 goals and 6 assists, showcasing his ability to dictate play, create chances, and contribute decisively in the final third.
Kervens continues to pursue his dream of playing professional football with dedication, discipline, and determination. His journey from the streets of Cité Soleil to competing with one of Brazil's premier clubs demonstrates the power of perseverance, hard work, and an unwavering commitment to excellence both on and off the field.
