How they got here
Jean Wid Vinette grew up in Cité Soleil as one of 12 children. He played in the street with whatever could roll, including limes, oranges, and empty cans. His goal is to become a professional footballer.
Jean began organized football with Champion FC. TapIn Sports identified him through Ligue des Jeunes d'Haïti. When insecurity made it unsafe for him to stay in Cité Soleil, the league president took him into his care and moved him to Cap-Haïtien at age 6.
He continued with Mercure FC in Cap-Haïtien. Association Sportive de Truitier later invited him as a guest player for professional trials in Brazil.
